The consultation phase begins with a simple exploratory session held over the phone or on Google Meet.  During this session, we will learn the basics about your project and discuss our pricing structure and how it fits with your budget.  Should you want to talk with members of our development team, we can take time during this session to set up a complimentary 1-hour consultation with at least one of our Senior Developers.

During the video consultation, we encourage open and honest dialogue by actively listening to you describe the desired results of your project.  We get all the information we can by asking probing questions and encourage you to be as detailed as possible.  This enables us to gain valuable insights into the challenges that may be faced while developing your application.  The consultation stage truly sets both of us on a path towards success by laying a solid groundwork for expectations.

Following the consultation, a proposal and/or agreement will be sent over for you to review.  This step formalizes our collective decision and outlines the responsibilities and expectations of each party involved.   This is done through our online portal which enables you to login and access the document(s).  If you have any concerns regarding the agreement, simply contact the member of our team you have been working with the most and we can make necessary adjustments to make sure it is fair for both parties.

Once we have reached an agreement, you simply select a package of hours and sign the digital agreement by login into your account on the Solutions Afoot portal.  The agreement stage marks the beginning of action and implementation; it propels us forward on the journey towards success.

Once the agreement has been signed and everything is ready to proceed, a Senior Developer on our team will be assigned to your project.  He or she will reach out to you in order to schedule the onboarding session.  The onboarding process is a crucial step and sets the tone for the development of your application.  It is encouraged that you take time prior to the onboarding session to create a detailed outline of the project as it will help our team more efficiently map out a flow to your project based on how Caspio tables and datapages function.

Following this session, we create a visual flow/map and layout all the tables for your approval.  In addition, your organization will be set up in our project management system and a special folder will be created in Google Drive that can be shared with you.  The purpose of these tools is so that there can be full transparency throughout the development stage.
